Buntine Rocks

These rock areas provide spectacular views of the farming land and are perfect picnic sites. Located less than 3 kilometres from Buntine this is a fabulous rock to climb with a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. It is particularly striking when you get the contrast of the green and gold crops. Following good winter rains the flats can be covered in pink and white everlastings. Many varieties of orchids including donkey, cowslip, blue fairy, spider, ant & sun can be found around the base of the rocks and alongside the track edges leading up to it. There is a picnic table for your use at the base of the rocks.
