Cailbro School

Located 9.5kms along Carter Road off Rabbit Proof Fence Road. A restored mud brick school that was built by the community in 1939, it is maintained by the Cail family and you may go in and read about its history.  The Cail family recently installed a shade cover over the structure to preserve it for future generations.  You are invited inside to view the schoolroom exactly how it was set up when students were in class.  There are examples of books and photos inside for all to view. This is a unique step back into history and well worth the drive off the highway.  Be aware this is accessed by a portion of gravel road.
