Kalannie 

Winner of the 1992 National Landcare Award, Kalannie is the centre of a large wheat growing area, which is also trialling Oil Mallees for commercial production.

The Kalannie Sports Pavilion was opened in May of 1999, the pavilion has a canteen/kitchen and bar area, change rooms and public ablutions. There is a hockey field, football oval, netball and basketball courts, cricket pitch and enclosed children's playground.

The Kalannie Sports Club is located on Hathway Drive, Kalannie. The Sports club is leased by the Kalannie Sporting & Recreation Club inc, it is a licensed venue with tennis courts, multipurpose courts, and synthetic bowls green.
