Petrudor Rocks
Petrudor Rocks is a large granite outcrop with water holes at the base. A popular picnic spot with locals and visitors alike, good winter rains will see the natural rock pool full of water and provide the opportunity to spot tadpoles. It is particularly lovely if we get a good display of everlastings and when the wattles around the pool area are smothered in blossoms. A walk around the top rock and its perimeter is generally a prime location to find orchids in season, rainbow plants and assorted grevilleas. The Kunzea Pulchella with its gnarly trunks and vibrant red bottlebrush like blooms appears later in the season.
